Go to >Tools >Options >Read, unclick the bit about downloading the message

in the preview pane. Then you can delete the emails you want without

activating the virus.

I use Norton Anti-virus which I downloaded from their website (not free,

but cheaper than off the shelf packs). It scans all my emails as they come

in, and actually caught a virus last week (Snow White), so I know it is

working. It claims to scan web pages as well, and does a check on boot and

a full scan once a week. I'm happy with it.

Please can someone help me i have OE5 and need to know how i can delte

some emails that have attachments without reading them!
