a eureka moment with insomnia and night pain/soreness post ALA

so the last week, i am guessing due to too high doses of ALA

(25 mgs) in conjunction with dmps (15-30? mgs every 3 hours)

things went to heck in a handbasket..fatigue, head problems

(anxiety. Brain fog, suicidal thoughts again) and also SLEEP

became very bad. I would wake up at 2-4am in a fatigue pain

body ache.

I had been taking clonezepan (klonoprin) and melatonin and

it stopped working at the same time..I guess these are all

symptoms of mercury redistribution

SO last night when i woke up in pain (2:00 am) and had been

coughing for 4-5 nights (deep bronchial cough that i

occasionally get that after 4-5 days makes you feel like

your heart is going to collapse when you start to dry cough)

I decided to take a dose of HC (hydrocortisone) and my DHEA and

pregnenolone.I ended up taking 20 mgs of hydrocortisone (i was

planning to only take 15 which is my morning dose but too many

quarter pill tablets to sort out, so accidentally ended up

taking 20 mgs I believe)

I also took 20 mgs of pregnenolone and 50 mgs of 7 Keto Dhea

(I have sulphur problems ) and have tried the regular DHEA but

it gives me nausea and head burning problems

IT was amazing, in literally minutes, my coughing ceased and I went

back to a restful sleep..this never happens...I usually wander

around the house in a pain trance for an hour or more watch tv or

read or just lie in bed in pain

I woke up this am feeling much more refreshed than i had all week...

not ready to get up and go on a 10 mile hike refreshed BUT not in

this all day fatigue and shuffling... i was able to get up and make

my green drink for me and my girlfriend..My head also seems clearer

(less head fog, less anxiety).

I had read somewhere (I belive) that low night cortisol can cause

your adrenals to give you sleep problems...)

anyone experience this or use HC in the middle of the night...I am

just wondering if I should take it when I go to bed tonight...(maybe

a small dosage 5-10 mgs)

I take a replacement dose of HC everyday. I have to increase for

stress and infection. For minor stress - double for 3 days, for major

stress or infection - triple for 3 days or until symptoms subside and

then gradually taper down to maintenance dose. These instructions

came from a doctor.

There have been several times with stress and infection that I had to

take HC at night. A couple of times it was because I was starting to

go into shock - extreme weakness and vomiting. Sometimes it was just

so I could sleep with the flu symptoms. Sometimes it was because I

had to drive at night.

Since the last flu I had I have been taking 5 mg just before going to

bed and am continuing because I am under a lot of stress. I will

eventually cut that out, as I have done in the past.
