Guest guest
The fact that your fever is gone this morning makes it unlikely you're suffering agranulocytosis from the tap. Usually that involves a sore throat and very high fever that doesn't go away. If you're concerned, it wouldn't hurt to check it out. I did it once when I had a sore throat and fever shortly after starting ATDs. I was fine. It's really very rare. Holly Dx. 8/2001; 5 mg. MMI Thanks to Terry and ? re: flu and tap O.K., I have a flu bug and had the big fever last night. The fever has gone this morning, but with all the warning I have received about fever and taking tap (suppresion of immune system, do I have to drag myself to the doctor?) What have all of you done in this situation? Thanks to Terry, yup,,,it was the flu!!
