Guest guest
Hi Clair - I'm so happy for you! Glad to hear the meds are working so well that you can feel the difference. Now that your appetite is reduced, we have to " do lunch " and can *split* a salad -- LOL! I wish I could drive up to the Portland " family reunion " but my car won't make it that far. So you and I have to set a date for our So. Cal get-together! What do you think about Glendale as a good meeting point? That's my old stomping grounds, and I know of some great restaurants there, not to mention the huge Glendale mall. I need some new shoes! My flip-flops are wearing out. Best wishes for continued success! Chris > I just realized that for the first time in as long as I can remember, > I have NOT had a headache in more than a week!!!!! Guest guest
Hi Glendale is a great place for me. It's only about 30-45 mins. from me depending on traffic. So I think we have got to do this, too. We can badger the waitress ( " Excuse me, what's the iodine content in your Greek Salad? And the Turkey Club? " LOL). I'm leaving on Saturday for Europe. Very excited... Most of all I'm excited to see my dad and my little sister (she's 7) and brother (he's 3). Not to mention this is the first long-term trip for and I. Should be fine. But right about now, I'm feeling stressed out. I know I'm still hyper despite the subsiding of some symptoms because the stress is making me unusually irritable and I am finding myself snapping about little things. BUT I've only been on meds for less than 3 weeks. So I am grateful for the respite I am getting from the other symptoms. Anyway, we come back on the 30th. December is a nutty month for me. Sister's birthday on the 6th. My Angel's birth/death day is the 14th. My husband's birthday is the 15th. My father-in-law's birthday is the 16th. I have a concert on the 10th (Counting Crows) and another one on the 17th (Tori Amos). Add Christmas to the mix and basically you have my head, reeling. So let's say sometime in January? Can't wait =) Clair > > I just realized that for the first time in as long as I can > remember, > > I have NOT had a headache in more than a week!!!!! Guest guest
I have to tell you guys a story about my Grave's headache. I did have RAI, I couldn't find diddly on the web before, anyways, about a month and a half after RAI, I was taking a nap on the couch in the afternoon, and in my sleep, my head was pounding again, and again, and again, I woke up and thought " Oh no, it's coming back " . Then I realized that I was awake and the pounding wasn't in my head, it was next door, the neighbors son had just gotten a drum set.
