Guest guest
I was thinking about either doing self B12 injections or having a Doc do them. My question is how chemically does B12 lower methylation? Will using the methyl form of B12 increase methylation (which is what I DON'T want to do) or does it make no difference even though its in the methyl form? My understanding is B12 the basic form (cyanocobalamin) reduces methylation through taxing the system by forcing the body to use its methylation for the transfer from cyanocobalamin to the active forms of B12 thus lowering methyl levels. So methyl-b12 or cyanocobalamin? Do I strictly have to stay away from methyl-b12? Thanks
