I suspect it only appears insignificant to those with littlies who haven't yet experienced the joys of the school/nursery/playgroup run. Personally, I would give my eye teeth not to have to take the younger ones along for the ride ;o) Lynda SAHM to (8), (5), Fraser (3), Callum (15/5/00) Newsletter editor, Mid-Northumberland Branch Area Rep, Region 7 www.familygarland.co.uk

I also hated having to wake a bad-tempered toddler up just to collect an older sibling from playgroup. Nowadays the younger ones get dragged around in the late afternoon/early evening taking/collecting from cubs/brownies/dancing etc. I would love to have somebody in the house just to avoid doing all those things. Guest guest
> so it means i can collect from school without having to drag DS2 > along with me - which might not seem much but the little things > count. > Caroline I think that counts for a lot, and DS would too - he asked me to 'get Reka back' when complaining for the umpteenth time about taking DD to or from school and has proposed to me leaving her there so he can continue to watcht the telly. I have incidentallyy staged a TV breakdown, sadly undermined by DH who forgot to unplug the whole thing last night, so DS told me this am the TV had mended itself! (Shall have tho think of something more drastic) The great thing was when it was 'broken' that he did start playing wit other games and his railway and went into the garden to go on his scoooter...
