Is there anything I can do to

help her natural detox pathways work better and give her body the best

about Liver Phase 1 and Phase 2, to see if anything there makes sense in her

TK--- do food allergin testing and ALCAT testing and make sure she is

not eating food that is an allergin or that she is sensitized to.

I've been

TK-- do CDSA and check for gut problems & treat these appropriately

TK--- a DDI Hair ELements analysis [links section] is not invasive and

can show a lot that can be helpful including the posibility of Hg,lead

etc. toxicity.

TK--- proper diet, supplements, good water, proper sleep, parental

support, etc.

I know it's not invasive, DH is just extremely skeptical of natural

healing of any sort and says that DD is perfectly fine and doesn't

need any tests done.

----------I suggested Autism-Mercury because most of them follow Cutler's

protocol, and would be familiar with dosing and issues for children. I haven't

had time to read over there for a long time, but when I did, there were lots of

wonderful, knowledgeable people over there, willing to help anybody, and not all

of the kids have autism. So I'm sure they would still help you. And they may

have more information in their groups links and files sections that would

pertain more to your daughter. And, Andy himself usually shows up more on that

board than our adult groups. There are probably a few members of this group

that are members of A-M also, like I know is, because of her

granddaughter. And I know some of us adults have joined there group, and read

when we can, because Andy posts over there more often. So I still encourage you

to join.-------Jackie

he'll come around at some point, hopefully, and maybe wouldn't be as scared of

ALA, since it is a natural supplement, it just happens to be a chelator

also.----------Jackie

----------I know this must be very hard, not having your husband's support on

this. So I think you would also get support from others in your situation on

the A-M group also, and maybe they could give you some ideas.--------Jackie

===>Some kids on A-M are typical, our's is, that's the good news. The bad news

is that this stuff doesn't clear up unless you chelate. And the really bad news

is that unless you chelate it gets worse as the child grows older. And it can

start to cause other problems.

If you really can't chelate the best advice I can offer is to make sure her

diet is good, organic, no processed foods, no junk food, as low in sugar as you

can get. There are supplements that can help, but they won't cure anything, just

hold it down. So if you'd like to be specific about what she is having trouble

with, I'll try to help or others' on A-M will also.

And Jackie's right, ALA is just a supplement and if your dh is okay with

supplements, he should be okay with ALA.

They will help! I am a member and am chelating one NT kid and one non

NT kid. They help both..they are very welcoming and don't care if you

child is not autistic.
