I did have some oldies I could only get on cassette so I use both. I do like the

CD's because on my tear jerking days like today I torture myself by throwing one

in the computer and playing it. Yesterday would have been my husband's birthday

and today marks 7 years ago he died. Sometimes a good cry is good to let it all

out and it cleans the sinus out:) Music is one of the worst things that gets to

me. I am a C/W fan and mostly the old ones. I had the lounge and restaurant when

my husband died and we had live entertainment. The singers knew there were

certain songs they could not play with me there and I had one gal who refused to

sing a couple songs because she could not handle the memories it gave her.

memories with music. Sure can get the tears going on me too. Ingrid

Hil, I've found that sometimes, especially on the birthdays, death

anniversaries, all the special times or just when you hear or see something and

the sadness hits, it's good to just go with it. I have music and music CD's from

movies my son loved that we watched together and I play them sometimes to just

go be with him awhile you know? I feel him then and I need that sometimes so

badly. I call it jason times, I think it's all part of healing, holding back is

worse on me. Anyway I always want him in my life even if he isnt here physically

anymore. I find that after I let it out, I feel some relief for awhile. hugs to
