Guest guest
The big day came and went in a swirl of people, food and gifts. The house was full of family, friends and food, enough to feed all the hungry in Maine. And far more gifts that I deserve. Telephone calls came every five or so minutes from friends and family across the country. All my grandkids called. It lasted until around one a.m. when I pleaded old age and had them tuck me into bed.. I decided that starting my second childhood was unproductive and have settled instead on being a DOM (dirty old man). The party and all the pretty girls from 9 to nearly 90 showed me the DOM benefits. And my hearty thanks to all the Air Family who also saluted me on this birtyday. I thought about chartering a Boeing 747 and flying you all to Maine, but tht seemed ostentatious and out of character for this skinflint. Love to all. Guest guest
Thanks, Peggy. I spoke with Earl a few minutes ago. He said Lou knew that he was speaking with me. I don't think she was feeling up to talking at the moment. He said she was doing a little better today, but the last several days have difficult. What a wonderful supportive man he is. We should all have an Earl at our side. I think I will surprise Lou with a boquet of flowers. Guest guest
be careful with the selection of flowers my kids sent me lilies mother's day 2008, the scent was so strong, i had to put them outside and lilies are some of my favorite flowers -- so beautiful --- tell the florist that you need unscented flowers (if they exist) Pink Joyce (IPF 3/06) IFA 5/09 Pennsylvania Donate Life Listed 1/09 Inactive 4/09 www.transplantfund.org--- Subject: Re: Re: JackTo: Breathe-Support Date: Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 11:25 AM Thanks, Peggy.
