Guest guest Posted September 28, 2005 Report Share Posted September 28, 2005 i would also agree that avastin is the most effective treatment out there, if given with another chemo like xeloda or oxaliplatin. any intestinal perforation would cause great abdominal pain, bleeding, obstruction, nausea, vomiting. i think anytime there is nausea, vomiting, constipation/diarrhea that you should contact your onc immediately because these are signs of perforation or obstruction. sftfemme@... wrote: My mom is 59 and she was inoperable. There's several articles about the trial with avastin for overian cancer patients. I believe 5 out of 44 patients were seeing ruptures or tears. They stopped the trial because of it.
