Guest guest
Not O/T at all! If you're low, you may well need more. Andy has a long post on this. My notes say to check message message 57707: In cases 1, 4 and 7 thiols and their precursors should be maximized in the diet and supplements IF and ONLY if the patient shows obvious improvement with doing this. ....from another email: In cases where cysteine is low and sulfate is low, or cysteine is high and sulfate is high, there is some ambiguity as to what is going on. ....yet another email: Well, low cysteine means have him eat a lot more sulfury stuff and maybe take NAC. Sulfate higher than cysteine means use the Feingold diet (rigorously) and no-fenol enzyme. He also needs more vitamin E. He may be mildly chemically sensitive. He needs a LOT more probioitics, more vitamin A, a lot more folic acid, some manganese and some zinc. Dave. My plasma cysteine level was lower than the low range - what does this imply? It was from a blood sample taken a few months back. Thanks
