Guest guest
Look, I don't even _begin_ to know the biochemistry of Andy - but I'd suggest that when you're chelating, your liver is working overtime, and so your ability to detox other substances might be compromised. It certainly fits in the general framework where we understand that symptoms can be provoked during chelation. Perhaps you want to go to Onibasu.Com and see if you can find any discussion, particularly by Andy, of exacerbated MCS symptoms during ALA chelation? Dave. ---------- I have been taking niacinamide and grapefruit juice for my MCS over the last 5 months. IT has helped immensely However over the last two weeks which coincidentally is when I added ALA to the equation (and I do not know if this is the causative factor) my sensitivities to chemicals has heightened I was wondering if anyone else has experienced such happenings Thanks
Guest guest
Are you taking milk thistle for liver support?? I have found that MCS is related to the liver being unable to handle daily exposure to toxins and thus you become sensitive to them. With the addition of milk thistle daily (four times a day) I have seen my MCS get better. While it's not entirely gone, I am a thousand times less sensitive than I used to be to many things. So essentially. liver support whether chelating or not...would help this condition > > I have been taking niacinamide and grapefruit juice for my MCS over the > last 5 months. Guest guest
Interesting,,, I suspect the additional load of chelating is overwhelming the help you got from the niacinamide and grapefruit juice. By the way, I have never heard of using those supps for MCS. Where did you get the idea? best to you, > > I have been taking niacinamide and grapefruit juice for my MCS over the > last 5 months. Guest guest
its partially in AI page 40-Phase 1 inhibitors as andy says MCS goes along with fast phase 1 liver metabolism (niacinamide) but there is a post from andy under the headng MCS in one of the files/linjks sections where he (I belive) suggest niacinamide and grapefruit juice In another post a few months back it appears curcumin also slows down phase 1, which helps your liver process these hydrocarbons > Interesting,,, I suspect the additional load of chelating is > overwhelming the help you got from the niacinamide and grapefruit > juice. > By the way, I have never heard of using those supps for MCS.
