What things cause someone to > feel hot yet not actually be hot temperature wise? Any temperature issues are likely to be thyroid (and thereafter adrenal) in nature. You would need to get average reading of your temperatures to come to a proper conclusion, as the pattern fluctuates during a day. http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/body_temperature.html DeanSA

Guest guest
Dean, I notice that when I get up and move around very much my temp drops much lower, to like 93 or 94, even in summer when its hot out, doesn't matter what time of day, so any activity makes it drop. Is that due to adrenal issues? My normal temp is always low, been on thyroid for over 20 yrs but its T4(the only thing my Dr will use), its better than nothing and not been all that effective, but with loads of metals/mercury in place I know that needs to be dealt with before I can feel much better. I'm still getting that out, but it sounds like I need to do something for adrenals now. Marcia > I > Any temperature issues are likely to be thyroid (and thereafter adrenal) in nature. Hi Marcia Yes, Sounds very much like it is adrenal, and I would suggest it is a sign of serious adrenal malfunction if you body is perceiving position change and light movement as stressful. What adrenal support are you taking because you are really likely to benefit from it if not. >My normal temp is always low, been on thyroid for over 20 yrs but its >T4(the only thing my Dr will use), its better than nothing and not been all >that effective, but >with loads of metals/mercury in place I know that >needs to be dealt with before I can feel much better. In fact T4 can be making you a lot worse and it is in fact not 'better than nothing' as it can be converting into RT3 slowing you down even more. You are likely to need Sustained Release T3 and consider using it as per 's Syndrome - http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/wilsons_syndrome1.html I just finsihed my first cycle of s T3 treatment and my temps are went up from 35.9C (96.62F) to 36.8 (98.24) degrees and have held there. They were 37 (98.6F) for 10 days during the treatment and only dropped a little once off. Armour and just about every other thyroid treatment under the sun (including straight T3) were unable to lift my temps. Any way, my point is you need to reconsider your thyroid meds, but ALWAYS look at your adrenals first. DeanSA
