No. In order to decrease iron, there are two ways. The easiest is just

to give blood a few times. The other possibility is to start taking

lactoferrin.

Will low dose chelation with DMSA and ALA assist in removing/reducing

iron levels (in particular ferritin) for a person with hemocromotosis -

i.e. high ferritin levels measured in blood tests.
