Guest guest
Debbie....GET HER TO THE DOCTOR (immediately)!!!!! Has she started coughing....like a bronchitis cough, with no cold symptoms?? Yes, these are CHF symptoms...this is the stage my Mom was at when she was first diagnosed with CHF...she had had the labored breathing for many months before the cough started....no other symptoms at ALL!!! We thought the labored breathing was just b/c she was wearing down and getting old....had we been aware or knowledgable, we could have had her diagnosed a lot sooner and treated. CHF is treatable!! Heart attack and/or strokes are, of course, what you want to avoid!!! Double Dog Drag Mom to the doctor, especially if she's not on any meds for CHF, yet....or at the very least call him and tell him what's going on. Remember my Mom had the breathing symptoms for quite a while before the cough started, but she could have been on meds all that time to help her and protect her....not to frighten you, but Mom died 6 wks. after the coughing started being hospitalized 4 weeks and then sent home the last 2 wks. Also, remember my Mom was almost 99 yrs. old...so tell your Mommy, she needs to go to the dr. I SAID SO!!!! LOL I miss my Mom sooooo much!!! Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
