Guest guest
Have you tried Jarrow Acidophilus? Or Garden of Life. G of L is pricier but good too.. You want to purchase one that has cultures in the billions, and is refrigerated. You may need to take more than the bottle says. You will also need to do something to get rid of the candida. Probiotics alone may not do this. I have had to use Grapefruit seed extract or oil or oregano, some people use caprylic acid too. Taking an antifungal and using daily probiotics will get it under control. Also, no sugar, white refined grains in the diet as best you can. No soda, minimal juices. > > I have candidia and I need a good probiotic that is high in Bifidus as > my tests show I didn't have any. Guest guest
Interesting, I also showed no bifido when tested. But high amounts of lacto and other strains. A couple of brands I tried. Haven't been retested to see if it changed, though given my digestive issues I'm not sure how much they helped. I tried VSL#3, which when taking it my GI symptoms improved, but once I stopped taking it my symptoms came back. I also tried Jarrow Formulas Bifidus Balance, though haven't tried it as long term as the VSL#3 as I've been on and off antibiotics trying to treat SIBO of methane producing bacteria. Not exactly glowing reviews, but they are the ones I researched most and would recommend. VSL#7 is very expensive, though you might need to take as much as they say for what your needs are. Guest guest
Have you looked at customprobiotics.com? They will make adjust the probiotics to what you need. I've heard that people's lacto bacterias will often increase too high after being on probiotics for awhile and they need to increase bifido then. You can have the probiotics adjusted to the results of stool tests or just order the bifido. Lynn mle_ii mle_ii@...> wrote: Interesting, I also showed no bifido when tested. Guest guest
hi i am trying the custom probiotics and found udo's strongest formula of probiotics just as effective if not moreso and less than half the cost. more is not necessarily better. monique Have you looked at customprobiotics. com? Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the response....just looked at his products and they are really reasonably priced. When I finally went to really high amounts I got the probiotics to work so custom's turned out to be the cheapest way for me. But I'd like to move off these higher amounts so my body will hopefully get it's own balance to return. Udo's looks promising as a maintenance program for this.
