I was really surprised to feel great for several months after

amalgams came out, but then went through a terrible 'dump' phase

that I didn't come out of again. Following some other chelation

protocols may have worsened things. I didn't know about this phase

& thought it was severe worsening of autoimmune thyroid disease. My

crowns were in place, 3 having amalgam & one gold.

Knowing what I do now, I would have insisted crowns be removed

despite what my current & past dentists had said. But I would never

have been able to have that much work done at once; it just should

have happened a lot sooner. When I got the crowns done, it seemed

like we were really wasting a lot of money.

It's probably risky to chelate at all with your crowns, and if

nothing else, perhaps a waste of money on the additional supplements

and of time itself. I improved from chelation with the crowns in,

but was set back again as soon as the crowns that contained amalgam

were removed. No feeling good after dental work this time around,

but I've had terrible reactions to the lidocaine used, had poor

immune function for a month, and feel quite sensitive to the temp

crowns. It's a tough call you have to make. I know how desperate we

are to be feeling better.
