I had my amalgams removed 7 months ago and felt completely recovered between months 2 and 5. During month 6 I started to feel the mercury again somewhat. I started chelating one month ago at month 6, and have felt great chelating at 6mg DMSA every 3 hours, with 3 days on and 3 days off. I'm going to try raising my dose some but will back off if I feel much in the way of symptoms. At what point should I think about adding in ALA? I would probably start off at 6mg. ----------Since you are more than 3 months post amalgam removal, you could try adding in ALA any time. But since you only started chelating one month ago and are only at 6mg of DMSA, it's hard to say if you are ready for or will tolerate ALA. I guess the only way you will know is to try it, and if symptoms are too much, then you know you're not ready yet. You may want to try raising your dose of just DMSA first, and see how you do with that.-------Jackie Thanks, Dave Recent Activity a.. 10New Members b.. 3New Links Visit Your Group FruitaBü Parents on Yahoo!
