Guest guest
He Elaine, Here's a go at changing the heading to reflect what I'm writing about! I think that, and Red's suggestion to only include pertinent phrases from the original post in the reply, will go a long way to helping. It's SO easy to just hit the reply button without even looking at the heading or deleting what you don't want to send from the first post, I know I'm guilty of both a lot of the time. I have feverfew in my garden and have been taking it (microwave drying the leaves and stuffing the into gel capsules, since the stuff tastes so awful and the taste lasts all day if I chew the leaves). Just started about 5 days ago, when I roused myself from my torpor to do SOMETHING, and remembered I had the stuff planted. I have a good vitamin supplement, too. The estrogen--well, I've tried that before when this headache thing hit, and it mysteriously helped for a few days, then stopped helping. Still have the little pills in the drawer, and have to admit, I have been tempted to stick one under my tongue and see what happens. Not really sure why I haven't given it a try, to be honest. On a positive note, I've got no headache today, so 3 of 4 days w/o. So, the feverfew, the acupuncture, maybe just passing through the phase--I am hopefully on the mend! Thanks for all the great suggestions, Terry > From: daisyelaine@... > Reply-To: graves_support > Date: Sat, 16 Nov 2002 11:20:44 EST > To: graves_support > Subject: Re: my absence > > Have to ask, though--have you tried feverfew at all? or vitamin B2 or > magnesium? For me, estrogen helped rather mysteriously, and when I quit > taking it the headaches never came back. Hope you find some comfort soon,
