My recommended followup was to repeat colonoscopy in 3-5 years.

Should I be worried. I know this is silly but I saw my Dad with his

colostomy in his later years and it was difficult for him.

Please respond - Bonnie

Other than perhaps moving a retest up to 2-3 years if they said it was

benign don't worry.

If they don't call or send the biopsy report to you in about a week you can

assume it was fine but go ahead and call anyway just to be sure.

Get regular checkups and don't ignore any symptoms. Oh and a Fecal Blood

test may be used at your annul physical to keep up on things.

Hi Bonnie, Welcome to our group. Sounds like you have nothing to

worry about. The doctors who do these colonoscopies know when it

looks like cancer. I would call in 10 days, but honestly it sound

like all good news. Take Care and post again and let us know the

results when you find out. Ingrid
