Just read your email about your freind with three adopted siblings, and I

felt sick that someone could suggest sending them back! My brother and I are

adopted and in some ways I think my parents love and care for us more than

others, because we were so wanted. Makes me so cross the way adopted

children and adoptive parents are treated like second class citizens.

I am not anti-abortion depending on the situation (eg, rape), but if all

unwanted kids/accidents were aborted, then I wouldnt be alive today!

Sorry, just annoys me that people assume that because two people adopt a

baby, they couldnt possibly love it as much as if they had given birth to

it...rubbish. If I was your friend I would have smacked that lady in the

mouth!!

I think she really did want to smack her but as she is a school teacher

and it was a mum from her school she really could not do a lot.. but she was

really upset about it and said it makes her feel like people thinks she loves

her kids less than other parents do (I told her it probably was the other way

around as she never would take hers for granted).. I have a step dad who I have

spent more time with than either of my parents (living with my mother and step

dad and my mother being a chef I saw my father every 3 weeks) and I am forever

telling people. Blood doesn't make families love does...

My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what you

start.

So far today, I have finished 2 bags of chips and a Chocolate cake.

I feel better already.
