Guest guest
> I'm thinking of trying this - not for anything specific just heard that it is > good for niggly things like back ache and indigestion in pregnancy I think you have to be very careful about using reflexology in early pregnancy because it can induce miscarriage. Guest guest
> > Hey, if it works - let me know ;-) > > Cerys Well......Can't claim that it will def stop you snapping but it should make you a lot less snappy (IYSWIM!) Very good for de- stressing, just generally chilling you out - in fact I have fallen asleep in several reflexology sessions. Did wonders for my IBS and dodgy guts, and I say never fails to shift (exscuse the pun) constipation etc Whoever mentioned early pregnancy - there are certain points that should be avoided when in early stages (mainly around ankle and across top of foot) but any reflexolgist worth their salt would know this. If you are just practising on each other then even rubbing each foot would be relaxing enough and might get the desired results without effecting the little one (please realise I am speaking as a lay person who just had a great interest in the subject, used it many times, and would love to train! - also I have read loads and have lots of books) If you are looking for a reflexolgist locally then I would certainly look for one trained by British School of Reflexology or Reflexology Association for UK. I also believe that there is an Institute of Complementary Medicine in SE16 (Surrey Quays) that would point you in right direction. HTH! - it certainly did me as I have 2 reflexology babies - well it must have had some contributory factor in it (unfortunately cannot help with todays problems - but what the heck I've got 2 more kiddies than I ever imagined!) beverly
