I used to study stats and that maybe why I am often cynical of any stats I

hear. I guess people who are stressed maybe likely to have a smaller

birthweight baby, but maybe it is more due to the fact that stressed people

are more likely to smoke, drink, or have a poor diet, rather than the stres

itself. Do the stats from this research go into all that? I am no expect,

just really interested...sorry if it seems like I am being picky...its just a

subject area that I am really interested in.

Thanks

This must be why DS wasn't small as I don't smoke I don't drink alcohol and

I eat loads of yummy food.

,

Me too, I dont smoke or drink, and regularly ate a large pizza right up to

the day before the birth of DS1 (he never engaged). He was 8lb 13oz!! I did

have a stressful pregnancy though, but maybe the pizza counteracted it!! :)
