Hi Terry,

Gosh, I hope those pesky headaches go away. And I hear what you're saying

about the size of the group. When I get too behind I have to skim and

sometimes delete on the basis of the heading or when I see a great thread

that is already getting tons of great input. But I have to cross my fingers

and hope I'm not missing anything I could be helping with. I'm still trying

for the lotto so I can quit my day (night) job.

I'm nowhere as computer savvy as the rest of the group, but maybe more care

to subject headings would help. I know using OT has helped a lot, and also

entering my name in the subject heading when it's lab related helps me. We

greatly value your alt background and your experiences with ATDs and recipes

so maybe entering more precise subject headings would help until the computer

gurus here come up with a better solution.

Have to ask, though--have you tried feverfew at all? or vitamin B2 or

magnesium? For me, estrogen helped rather mysteriously, and when I quit

taking it the headaches never came back. Hope you find some comfort soon,

Elaine

Hi Terry,

You spoke my words exactly. I haven't been posting much either and the

posts get overwhelming for me. The sad thing is I miss posting with

everyone, but just don't have the time anymore. When I get behind I have to

just delete and I don't like doing that.

I feel for you on the migraines since I've lived with them since I was a

child and know about the cluster ones. And understand about the menopause

hormone roller coaster since I've been riding the roller coaster for a

little over a year now. Some days I feel like I take more vitamin and herbs

than I eat food. LOL!

I've always enjoyed your posts and alt treatment.

Here is hoping you get some relief from your headaches.

Debbie R.

Hi Terry

I hope you get on top of this headache very soon. I can't imagine having

one for so long and not go absolutely loopy.

I agree that the posts are overwhelming. I haven't been able to do more

than skim and join in occasionally. Between my two babies (who are both

doing really well and are beautiful) and the house I haven't much spare

time.

I'm not sure if splitting is answer. I would be afraid that the group

wouldn't be the same. It has grown so much since I joined in 2000 and

this is a great thing. Because while I'm busy and your feeling poorly

others are here to keep it actively and relevant. If we had sub groups

I'm think it may become elitist and slow at times and we could miss

someone's experience that may be important to us.

I'm sure that everyone appreciates that personal circumstances sometimes

prevents us from being really involved in the everyday postings at

times. It does take a bit of time to skim through the posts and to

answer the occasional one, but for me this helps me still feel connected.

It is really important to have accurate subject lines so that everyone

can join the lines that interest them. Apart from this I don't know what

else would help.

Anyway - must go - duty calls!!!

Love

Caroline
