Off to the Doctor with you Missy - you can't teach on a poor nights sleep! Itchy feet could be connected to picking up a fungal bug from your Hotel Bathroom or anything ......in the meantime Lavender oil is good for calming the Itches or Calamine Lotion (if you can get hokd of that old fashioned remedy!)

Glad you had a great visit with your sibs in Laguna...

Cheers,

So do mine, not as bad as you describe but no rash, no reason just itch. Sometimes I feel like ants are crawling on me. Very weird, could it be poor circulation?

Kathleen,

I am so glad I am not the only one with this symptom. It does feel like ants are crawling on me! I hadn't thought about circulation. It just seems so weird that it only happens when I am sleeping.. If I find a solution I'll let you know- R. (53) Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 Carlsbad, California

I notice when I don't exercise, and eat alot of desserts or white bread it is worse. A friend turned me on to Mon a Vie a health drink. It is expensive but I always feel better, and more importantly sleep better when I drink it. lol I cleaned my house spic and span before I realized it was a phantom feeling. there is a disease called restless leg syndrome

my ex's uncle had it for many years before we knew there was a name for it

when i went for the sleep study last summer, that is one of the things they looked for

talk to your doctor about it-- the only symptom that i know about is that it keeps people up at night

I have restless limb syndrome and peripheral neuropathy. The feeling

with it is one that is difficult to describe but you feel like you must

move your feet or legs or hands or whichever limb it is. Most just have

it in their legs. It can be sort of a tingling or prickly type feeling,

but I wouldn't describe it like bug bites. Now, there's another disease

too and that it PAD (Peripheral Artery Disease). It is the most common

form of PVD (Peripheral Vascular Disease). Fortunately, the symptoms

they describe do not fit PAD.

I had not thought of it for a while, but I was experiencing the feeling

as if there were insects biting my legs at night about two years ago. It

was intermittent but there was a period it was especially bad. Until now

I never associated it at all, but since I've been on oxygen for sleep do

not recall experiencing it. I just thought it was related to a skin

problem or something.

Thanks Pink,

I also read Bruce's post and wonder if it is happening because I am no longer using oxygen at night. I think I will try going to bed with my O2 again and see if that stops it. If not. . . it's doctor time.

Why did you stop oxygen at night? All our sats drop at night? Did you do

an overnight oximeter that said you didn't need it?

If neosporin seems to sooth it then that might well indicate the

possibility of some form of bacterial infection. They are amazingly easy

to get and can drive you crazy.

I would strongly recommend an overnight oximeter. You would be in a

great minority of oxygen users if you don't need it at night. Everyone's

saturation, even those perfectly well, drops at night.
