Guest guest
Here's one of many URLs about herpetiformis dermatitis: http://www.csaceliacs.org/dermherp.html Again, it is establishing a link of celiac disease with other autoimmune diseases, like Graves'. Interestingly, there was a question on the Sjogrens2 list yesterday asking if anyone with Sjogren has also been diagnosed with Celiac. [s E L Paolini] I've been tested for Celiac because I have herpetiformis dermatitis and was found quite negative. [s E L Paolini] If you are a celiac 1) you cannot digest any gluten product and it will pass like the dickens thru you. If you stop taking gluten within days you will see a noticeable difference. In my case IBS was causing simliar problems. Sue

I think that there are a bunch of people who have clusters of small blisters who are wanting to figure out what it is. Also, they'd probably like to know what to do about it. Guest guest
[s E L Paolini] i've had it for years off and on about 20 years ago ended up in the ER on it. Looks like eczema and it's called differenct things depending upon the doctor you visit or where on the body. This summer they used Elidel which worked like a charm. It's a new drug. They key is that is itchy and spreads. Usually the skin is very very very dry. OTC the best thing that I've found is boroleum.
