Hi everyone,

Well, last night was another ER adventure for me. Since i am between

docs and untreated for the moment, I am not doing well, but until last

night was hanging in fine. However, last night I collapsed, the room

was spinning and I started vomiting. Hubby took me to the ER about 11

pm.

They ran a TSH and T4

T4 was below registering

and TSH was 1.4

They diagnosed me with VERTIGO...????

I feel this must be thyroid related, but I haven't experienced it

before. It was horrifying and awful, I couldn't even talk I was so

disoriented, and it gave hubby quite a scare.

Here's another wierd thing...I had had a glass of

wine earlier in the evening, but at the ER they acted like they

thought I was drunk. Hubby was telling them I don't really drink and

all I had was a glass with food. The ER doc told me actually that I

should go home and " sleep it off. " Well, I certainly wasn't drunk. But

maybe the wine triggered the vertigo later on? I am confused

Oohhhh! these docs! They make me so mad.

Only 2 weeks now until my new doctor appt. But it's getting harder to make

it. I have also been taking hawthorn for my HR, it's been very

elevated. Could the hawthorn have caused this.

Went to my GP today to follow up and she told me to TAKE THE DARN BETA

BLOCKERS since my pulse is so high.

Anyone have any ideas???
