Guest guest
Ok, never thought about it until recently. But at one point I remember reading the ingredients in my shampoo and hair gel (and I looked again this morning) and they both contain EDTA, one is something like disodium EDTA and the other was tetrasodium EDTA. Is this the same EDTA that Andy mentions not to use? (Though I don't take it orally) What problems might occur when using this product, if any, where one has mercury in their body? Might this throw off a hair test? Thanks, Mike
Guest guest
Mike , when I was at my sickest there was no way I could use any commercial products for my hair and body.My head would hurt, scalp was itchy and very sensitive, etc. I use Borax to wash my hair and then rinse it with Citric acid ,there is no foam like we are use to when washing with shampoo but you'll get use to it.Rinse very thoroughly because you should leave your scalp slightly acidic. Put 1/4 tsp citric (not ascorbic) acid crystals in a pint of water and rinse your hair after washing with Borax. Only citric acid is strong enough to get the Borax out.Lemon juice and Vinegar are not.(Dr Hulda 's recipe) If it burns your eyes , splash with cold water. I certainly benefitted from it hugely, specially the sensitivity of my scalp disappeared. I still use it three years later. I suggest for you to stay away from all commercial products for your hair and body at this time. There is some nasty stuff in these products.Specially benzene/benzoate/etc in ANY of your products as this settles in your Thymus gland which regulates your immune system which you desperately need to clear your body of toxins. And soon you'll get used to not using these commercial products. Good luck.
