Guest guest
Tried ALA 2 months ago, but desided to use only DMSA for a while longer due to worsening og symphtoms; 6 mg ALA with 25 mg DMSA every 3rd hour. Now I'm trying ALA again, this time 3 mg ALA and 25 mg DMSA every 3rd hour. Except for a cold (no feaver) I felt 'ok' (just the 'normal' fategue ++) before I started the round. First day on round I didn't feel much different. The second day I was more fategued, mostly physically, and my muscles have started hurting. Mostly a burning sensation and mainly in my legs, but also shoulders and back. My legs feel weak. Feels quite like nerve inflammation; have som experience with this due to a back injury some years ago. Is this just more mercury moving around due to dumping (I'm 7 1/2 months past amalgam removal), or is this effects of ALA ? 3 mg is not a very large dose... What experiences do others have when introducing ALA ? Also, and this is not new since ALA, my muscles seems to take 'forever' to recuperate after activity (very moderate; short walks, swimming etc.). Any temporary remedy for this (until chelation has done its part) ? - Kyrre

When I tried ALA at 5 mg q 3 h with DMPS I found that fatigue increased proportionally with the time of ALA chelation. I didn't notice muscle or leg pain back then because I gave in to the fatigue. I think that what you are experiencing is the ALA moving metals. > Also, and this is not new since ALA, my muscles seems to > take 'forever' to recuperate after activity > (very moderate; short walks, swimming etc.). It used to be that continuous chelation with DMPS helped them, but not so lately. J > - Kyrre >
