Well, we got to the cancer center at 8:30 and Phil had his blood work done.

Over to the waiting room feet up and Phil is out for a nap.

At 9:30 he went back and we had the informed consent talk. That done time

for more zzzzz's

10 pre meds of Zofran still snoring!

11 AM they started the Camptosar (CPT-11) and Leucovorin IV's but didn't

finish the CPT-11 as his bilrubin was messed up. Bilrubin is that lovely stuff

that gives jaundice its yellow glow

so he's off CPT-11 for now. Phil is still sleeping except during the push!!

1 pm Benadryl

1:30 we start the Erbitux test drip (Does that stuff stink or is it me?) no

reaction at all the guy just rolled over and slept. SOME MORE!!!

3:00 Erbitux bottle is hung 1 hour to go Phil is still sleeping!!!!!!!

4:00 All done nurse hooks up FANNY (AKA 5FU in the portable pump) Phil

FINALLY arises

5:00 Phil gets a shot in the backside for diarrhea.

5:30 Over to the pharmacy for Compozine and Zofran and a strong

anti-dirraheal if

the Imodium doesn't work

6 pm FINALLY HOME Phil takes the dog for a walk

6:30 Eats steak and potato then out for a walk!!

7:45 pm still walking!!

8pm home relaxing

Either he's doing a marathon or a cat found that damned mouse protein in the

Erbitux HAHAHA

Soooooo it looks like Phil is ok again!! He never ceases to amaze me!!

We do have a blood transfusion scheduled for early AM tomorrow as his blood

counts were a little down (borderline) mostly precaution. They gave him a

Procrit shot there.

But all in all it was a good day. Thanks so much for your prayers.

Narice & Phil
