Guest guest
I'm going to try to get a Pan xray at my IAOMT dentist soon to see if all mercury is gone from my mouth. But if I do that and have a consultation with him, and if I think I need a second opinion with a Huggins dentist 2 hours away, is there any way to get a good copy to the Huggins dentist? I hear Pans don't copy clearly. Are they computerized and can be emailed? Because I don't want to get 2 Pans (too much radiation and expensive). I think you're only supposed to get them once every 5 years (insurance). Or, should I go 2 hours away to the Huggins dentist FIRST, get the Pan there for the more-trusted opinion first, THEN take it back to my local IAOMT dentist for HIS second opinion? I ask this because the local dentist I see now, I've only been going to him a few months, and my previous dentist copied my 5 yr-old Pans and mailed them, and they were totally unreadable. I want to make sure I plan this right before I take steps. Thanks,
