Don't they take a *lot* of rinsing, though? I'm just thinking of times when

the flow is really heavy. I wouldn't want to put them in to wash with

anything else, I must admit, though maybe I'm just squeamish!

Well no not really I have a 1lt Tupperware very old orange jug with a lid, I

fill it up with cold water and pop my pads into it to soak. Before I add a

another pad I pour off the water, turning around the lid to the spout end so I

don't have to touch the pads and then add another pad and some more clean cold

water.

By the end of my period the jug is full of pads ( I only have 6 of them anyway)

I just give them one more water change and then pop them into the washing

machine. So by the time they go into the wash the amount of blood on them is

minimal.
