My mother has not taken her wedding ring off since the day that she got

married (she refused to take it off for her c/s and had tape put over it).

I'd always wanted to do the same but last PG had so much swelling the MW

said " either you do it or I'll take you to have it cut off soon " :(

I had the date we got married engraved inside it to make myself feel better

about having to take it off and Gethyn put it back on my finger :) This PG

my hands have been swollen since 7 b****y wks and I'm really missing my

rings - what to have engraved in it this time methinks ...........

My rings (a plain gold wedding band and a lovely sapphire and diamond engagement

ring both 18 carat) have been of my finger twice since the day I got married,

Feb 13th 98 and Jan 6th 00.. Both times while I was in labour and this only

happened when m/w asked for the to be removed (both times close to birth) so

they where only off for a couple of hours. With Eloisa's birth I wore them in a

chain around my neck whist they where off (about 2 hours in total..) I feel

totally naked without them and I can't bear not wearing them.. Incidentally

whilst I didn't find it uncomfortable in labour wearing very little clothes in

front of m/w and dh I did find it uncomfortable once the rings got off.. weird

ha ;o)

Lonnie Phoebe & Eloisa's mama

& expecting a Christmas delivery...

My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what you

start.

So far today, I have finished 2 bags of chips and a Chocolate cake.

I feel better already.
