Guest guest
I was a bit worried by the part about leaving a baby of about 13 months on their own in a room which implied if the baby did not get distressed then they did not have a good bond with their mother. DD2 is a very independent character and will happily play with a toy for 10 minutes or so totally without input from me or indeed anyone. This is great as it means that I can leave her in the conservatory and dash to the kitchen to unload dishwasher (yes, I hate that job too!!), load WM, feed dogs etc for a few minutes knowing that she will be fine. DD2 is rarely bothered if I leave her alone but I hope that this research is wrong as I am feeling rather guilty now (probably because I am so down about my old Basil dog dying).
