Guest guest
Some of you might remember that I was having a problem persuading DD2 (14 months yesterday) to drink milk from a cup. I hit on a solution by accident. I drink my milk with chocolate powder in and DD2 always jumps up and down and demands a bit off a spoon. So I put a straw in my glass and she drank quite a bit so I have now bought one of those cups with a short integral straw and she is happily guzzling away at her chocolate milk. After four days of this I thought - great time to drop the morning breastfeed - so when she woke I took her and DD1 downstairs and did their milk. I then took DD1 and DD2 back up to DH (with a cup of tea for him) and sat DDs on the bed. DD2 noticed the boobie pillow (U-shaped cushion) and pointed and said " Dat, Bubbas " . I said No and distracted her by going into DD1's room and starting to her dressed. DD2 wandered off and returned a minute or so later carrying the boobie pillow which is about the same size as her. She dumped it on DD1's bedroom floor, pointed again and said " Dat, now " ! Well how could I resist ....
