I caught part of the 'prof winston extravaganza' last night, they were

talking about food, taste, and baby feeding habits. They had prem twins

who were described as 'poor eaters'. he stated that their parents had

to give them a biscuit to distract them while food was'shovelled in'.

did I hear right? that they were just 5 months old - i.e. Alfie`s age!?

(minus any catch-up time for being prem!) how can *he* stereotype babies

of that age - when many of their contemporaries aren`t even taking

solids yet?

Controversially speaking, apparently he also said that a 23 week

fetus, is nothing more than a bundle of reflexes, with no personality

I Know I know I saw it too - a great deal of assumptions and rash

judgements been made in that series so far IMHO!

I saw it too and it so annoyed me - ph didn't even start solids

until 5 mths and never really got onto proper meals until nearly a

year. Really sending out the wrong messages that programme - makes me

want to write in or something.

Prof W has lost the plot and become media mad IMHO. If I catch up

with him or Lira his wife at any *do*'s I might tell him/her so.
