Guest guest
Sher Well, I meant to send it private but messed up. Nothing really private in it as it might apply to many others here. While I hate that we face doughnut holes and medication choices, offshore and Canada purchasing is an option for some of us. There are a few northern states that have accredited certain Canadian pharmacies even. There is something horribly wrong with the pharmaceuticals that they choose to take advantage of US patients since insurance is normally paying. Astra Zenica sells Nexium for considerably less in other countries than in the US. Many other products are like that as well. > > Something I do that may or may not be worth you considering is buying > offshore when I reach the doughnut hole or in some cases to avoid it. Guest guest
Sher I research it best I know how but its still a little scary. I trust the branded from offshore much more than a generic. For instance, there is a generic Nexium even for half the price of the branded, but I figure not wise to press my luck and so pay to get branded. To find it one just googles " buy xxxx " with xxxx being the med or goest to places like canadadrugs.com or others. A good source of Canada pharmacies that have actually been reviewed is the state of Minnesota's web site. To me, its not something I like doing or recommend, but when it becomes a matter of thousands of dollars I had to consider it. This was after finding I qualify for none of Nexium's many assistance programs. > > > > Something I do that may or may not be worth you considering is buying > > offshore when I reach the doughnut hole or in some cases to avoid it. > I > > purchase Nexium offshore. Guest guest
Sher There are some screening organizations for the companies themselves. They are Pharmacychecker.com and CIPA (Certified Canadian International Pharmacy). Also, you can often check to see what Canadian pharmacy they are. I try to make sure they are a legitimate pharmacy. Now, there are some further screened by states such as Minnesota. I would trust those most. As to the meds, thats why I get branded only. I can check packaging and source and match the meds to the way they are suppose to look. There is still no guarantee but that is the best I know. I use Nexium, but its actually Neksium as its the India product. It's packaged in all original Astra Zenica packs, which are blister packs, not pill bottles. I still think of it as a last resort. > > > > > > Something I do that may or may not be worth you considering is > buying > > > offshore when I reach the doughnut hole or in some cases to avoid > it. > > I > > > purchase Nexium offshore. Guest guest
PinkFound a paragraph on their site, I just felt compelled to paste here:Why are drugs less expensive at your Internet pharmacy than in the U.S.? In Israel, pharmacy prices are lower because the government controls the prices to keep pharmaceutical products affordable. The United States is the only developed country in the world with no similar price controls, and any pharmaceutical company may set prices for its own products. These prices are invariably more favorable to the company than to the consumer.> > > >> > > > Something I do that may or may not be worth you considering is> > buying> > > > offshore when I reach the doughnut hole or in some cases to> avoid> > it.> > > I> > > > purchase Nexium offshore.
