Guest guest
Roland, did you get any feedback on your hair test? I have it printed out, but don't recall if I got around to commenting. Not optimal, but not terrible either. They say your Free T3 and T4 should be in the upper 1/3 to 1/4 of the range, to feel best. You look kind of in the middle. If you do have hypothyroid symptoms, then you should probably have thyroid antibodies tested also. TSH doesn't always mean much, especially if you have mercury poisoning and/or Hashi's (antibodies). High TSH means hypothyroid, low TSH means hyper. MY DHEA and cortisol were low on my last test from ZRT, and this is what it said, " Chronic low DHEA may suggest adrenal fatigue, particularly if cortisol is also low and symptoms are indicative of low adrenal function. " -----------Jackie Could this be causing my weight loss and joint pain? ------------The links below have symptom checklists (for men and women), and at the Lee website, it lists weight loss under testosterone deficiency. The ZRT website lists aches and pains under adrenals. These were under the men's checklists on both sites. I believe weight loss or unable to gain weight is a general symptom of low cortisol. It sounds like you definitely have hormone imbalances, and a saliva hormone panel of tests might be a good idea. DHEA is a precursor to testosterone, so might help if that is part of the problem. I currently take 50mg of DHEA and pregnenolone. Pregnenolone is a precursor to many hormones. Not sure if it's prescribed more for women, or not. Were you taking the 75mg of DHEA before you had the testing done, or did you start this after the testing?----------Jackie Roland

Guest guest
Roland, were you vaccinated? Did you or do you have any metal fillings? If you answered yes to any or both you should not rule out mercury. Some people do not meet the counting rules on hair testing but are still toxic. It depends on how long ago your exposures were. And some people never show deranged minerals. In this case, if you know the exposure was there, you can try a French Porphoryn test to look for mercury. Or you can try doing a trial of chelation with a low dose of dmsa or ala to see if you find improvement or see symptoms. Someone who does not have a mercury problem will notice no effects in taking ALA. It's a cheap way to see if you do have Hg. Cq10 is good for circulation and the heart...something to try. > > I just got my blood work back.My DHEA was 184 > Scale is 180 to 1300.I am 43 yr old male. > > -----------I have only had this tested by saliva and am female, so can't compare actual numbers.
