If you felt mentally calmer on pregnenolone despite some hormonal problems, you may get better benefits from some form of cortisone. You could always try some 1% hydrocortisone cream. It's cheap, no scrip needed, and easy to find in a drugstore. If my memory is correct, 1 tsp = 10 mg, look it up in AI or in archives to be sure of dosing. --
Guest guest
Thanks ...I probably do need cortisone. I know that I had one dose of prednisolone which of course had some nasty profound side effects which is why I stopped it, but the next day I had so much energy... I may at some point try Isocort..still on ACE...and got that cream..I just forget to use it! Thanks..your always so helpful..I appreciate it. I am going to see a different doctor since mine wishes to ignore my thyroid symptoms.... I am almost done with my 25mg round and didn't feel much. I had some bone pain which I stopped with more calcium. But I had that sometimes on 12.5mg. I kept the ala at 12.5. I seem to have a bit of energy despite waking up and not sleeping well in between doses. Otherwise, feel the same. > > > > Pregnenolone is a no no for me.
