I was told to never take an antibiotic again that was in the ceplasporin (sp?) family. The one that did it to me was Ceftin. There was actually nothing they could give me to make it stop. It had to run (no pun intended) its course. But they did check stool sample for diffbac (sp?) bacteria. It's something that grows wild when the antibiotic kills off the good stuff. Make sure they do that test because then there is a med to give to take care of that bacteria. They did mention checking him for C-Diff....I think that's what you are referring to, but don't know if they actually did it yet...thanks for prayers!!
