Guest guest
I saw my onc at Vanderbilt yesterday and asked him if there was anything new in the colon cancer world. He told me about a 26 yo female stage 4 patient he was treating. The onc said all he could say about her liver was it was just full of cancer. She is undergoing folfox plus avastin and at this time his scans can not see any mets. The onc is not sure at this time if it is permanent but he has never seen someone with so much cancer -no surgery was done- improve so much that at this time she is ned. I will ask about her each time I see him. Another good reason to never stop trying.
