As your body moves away from being hyper, your cells can recognize this as a move toward hypo, causing temporary symptoms of hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. If true hypo or hyper has developed the symptoms will persist, but when it's an adjustment to a new dosage, the symptoms subside after a few days.
