Guest guest
Gosh Nonnie, You mean that not only will I have to wait that long to get my ribs to stop hurting it may take that long for my bowels to return to normal? I hate the waiting. But what choice do we have. Ingrid > every time i have colon surgery it has taken me a while to get away from the > diarrhea. Guest guest
Nonnie, I know you are right about teens. But I do know they should have some fun things to do to. I just wish I could give him those fun things. Right now I need help with so much. It will get better. I know that. Just hope that I have time to enjoy my son and feel better to do things with him. Guest guest
Thanks Nonnie I am working on it. Karima aaarrrggghhhhh Hi friends, I had a tough day running out to the doctors - everything ok but the bowels went berserk on me twice, once in my therapist's office and the next in a Verizon store...I just had to run out of the store. I don't know what I would do without these Depends but it sure is awful. I literally had to strip and wash my slacks in the stupid little sink and then put them on wet. Gawd!!!!! I don't know what to do. All I had for breakfast was toast and a cup of tea. It seems like mostly I eat toast. I haven't had fruits or veggies in I don't remember when and this can't be good for us. I see folks who write that they take metamucil three times a day and immodium three times a day. That seems extreme. This is the " right away " when I have to go; it is like the fourth or fifth time and then it's over. I don't know what to do. I am so sorry for such a descriptive note but I need some encouragement and..... Karima http://www.geocities.com/skippingthestones/
Guest guest
You are right. I just feel so guilty that my son gets no play time. Well, I guess he gets some. I let him go to the public pool yesterday for two hours. It's just that I depend on him to do the animal chores and so many other things. Right now he is vacuuming for me. But you are right, it will make him a better man. Ingrid' > > > > I have alot of evasive doctors. Guest guest
Thanks Marty. Yes, He likes being there for me. But often see my son wanting to do some fun things too with his friends. I let him go often. But sometimes I have to say no since I need his help so much. I am getting a little better and stronger each day. But still need so much from my son. He helps me with all the critters we have and often has to do my chores and errands. Yes, I know it will make a better person of him. Just am terrified that I have passed the gene on to him and he will need to keep himself checked for colon cancer starting in his twenties. I love my son to peices and only want the best for him.
