Same here, I only work part-time but yesterday I did a full day at

work returning at 5.40. DH had been at work all day as well and my

mum had been here with the kids. I cooked tea for everyone, unloaded

the dishwasher, put away shopping, put a washload on, fed the dogs,

happened to look out the kitchen window where DH was meant to be

supervising tea-time on the patio to see DD2 feeding her pasta to the

dog and DD1 chatting away to herself and not making any effort to eat.

DH was engrossed in the newspaper and totally oblivious to everything.

And the look on his poor long-suffering face when I asked him if he

could help the children with their tea whilst I continued my

impersonation of a blue-bottomed fly!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr!
