Guest guest
Hi Chris I got Phil a product called Alveno it has Oatmeal extract which may relieve any itching. I am allergic to shea butter but that may well work for you. It is supposed to be a good moisturizer and smells nice too. Phil started the rash on his back. I am wondering if corn starch powders might work as it seems more prominent in areas that get sweaty. If I find a link I'll let you know. I know everyone says this is a hopeful sign but wondered if anyone has tried shea butter and did they have any sucess? I cant find many of the products mentioned on the group here in Spain. in Spain

Guest guest
I tried many things for the rash as I had it quite heavily. I found that caladry or calamine helped a bit. I also tried Aveeno, gold bond cream, lamosil, powder and a few others. Nothing really helped. The rash on my back and chest did not usually itch though. I ended up shaving my hair to about an inch because my scalp kept getting infected. The nurse who headed the research dept. at the cancer center said she had heard of people dabbing the spots with head and shoulders. I did not try that one. It has been 6 weeks since I stopped erbitux and you can still see the spots although they have faded some. Erbitux did clear up the mets in my liver while I was on it. Now that I am off it I have the beginnings of one spot in my liver again. Good Luck. Both Mike and Phil are in my prayers. Jane
