Guest guest
Hi all Having joined Friends Reunited, I have discovered that my school (from age 7 to 13) is having a reunion in November this year. I've just had an email back from the organiser, and I'm now officially invited to the reunion. > I had some very very mixed feelings about it - worried that I didn't need > some very unhappy memories stirred up, but my sister was keen to go, so I > went. This is the stage I am now at. On one hand I would like to go back and meet up with friends... but I also don't fancy the idea of meeting back up with people who I hated, and who bullied me while I was at school. I think the pros out weigh the cons... as I would like to get back in touch with old classmates - and I will just have to try and avoid the bullies! Guest guest
Nick, try to look at it this way.If you are happy with yourself and your life now you can walk in there with head up high and feel good ,if any of the old bullies are there the chances are they have done a lot of growing up since then and will feel guilty about how they treated fellow classmates.I was bullied at school but I can honestly say that my life is a lot better than many of those who looked down their noses at me all those years ago.So go along and you will probably find out that you get on with everyone a lot easier than you used to.
