Guest guest
I resolved to stop reading it after being told I had thrombocytopaenia in pregnancy (low platelet count). After reading up on this I was convinced I had leukaemia or cancer, spent a whole night worrying and crying and writing my will only to go to the GP and discover it is not uncommon and may be an indicator of pre-eclampsia. I am the sort who, whenever I have a headache I have a brain tumour ) There's another DK book, Children's Symptoms which I have found quite useful, it has first aid in it too. Guest guest
Yup, I'd agree - I asked for a general illness/health book last Xmas and this is what my sister bought for me. It is huge (spine almost 3 " wide!) but covers everything ... and more.
