Guest guest
Been reviewing my supplement schedule and I've got a couple of supplement questions - 1. I've been taking zinc 3/day and just noticed that Andy says 50-100 mg per day, not per dose. So with 3 doses I'm taking 150 mg per day... too much, huh? I thought I saw somewhere that you could/should take zinc at every meal, which is how I came up with the 3/day idea. What do people do on zinc? Take 50mg all at once? How many times a day? Break it up? Buy lower dose tabs? Is 150mg/day really too much? 2. I haven't started molybdenum yet, since iHerb only offered it in liquid and it would've taken a lot to get to Andy's recommended 1000mcg range. I finally got some from NEEDS, but they are 500mcg caps. Again, I think I read that molybdenum should be taken 4 times/day, but now I can't find that anywhere. What are folks doing for molybdenum? Taking it twice a day? Splitting the capsules? Buying it somewhere else? Thanks for any input,

So you could > just take >1-50mg capsule 2X/day. I don't think splitting up the zinc > during the day is as important as it is for things like Vit C and B > vitamins.------- Hi, Since zinc is water soluble it is very important to take serveal doses throughout the day with other water soluble things like Vit C, B-Vitamins, magnesium. When you chelate this is easy as you can just include them with each dose. Take care not to take B-vitamins at night as they can interfere with your sleep. The only ones that you can take once a day is the fat soluble ones like Vit A, D, E and K and Fish Oils, since the liver can store these and release at will.
