confusion about andys book....dmsa challenge tests

Andy says on his website that... " DMSA challenge tests that involve

the administration of 500 mg - 3g of DMSA as a single dose are also

dangerous and not diagnostic. "

why is this so? becuase the microtrace.de lab use this test and they

are the favoured lab of the ICBMT (International Board of Clinical

Metal Toxicology) so now I am VERY confused...please help.
