Guest guest
While I was chit chatting with Debbie earlier today I mentioned that I had a colonoscopy last year and it was clean. All my brothers and sisters have had one even though none of us are 50 and a few are not 40. Here's one way to get them If anyone in your family (parents or siblings) has had a polyp with or without cancer you are now at increased risk and the colonoscopy is deemed medically necessary. I don't know how this works for the under 30 crowd as the doctors here say Dan won't need to be tested until he's 30 sorry he's getting it this summer. Hope this encourages you younger caregivers to look into your own backgrounds as well as the patient's and look into scheduling your own test.
